Walk-In Clinic Summer Hours: Tuesdays 11am-6pm (last appt 4:30)

Hands’ Walk-In Counselling Clinic will remain open during the summer with shortened hours. For the months of July and August, the Walk-In Clinic will be open every Tuesday from 11am to 6pm, with the last appointment at 4:30pm.

The Walk-In Counselling Clinic is located at Hands in North Bay at 222 Main St. E.

Children, youth (under 18), parents and families will meet with a therapist for a single session to address the child or youth’s mental health concern.

Tree of Life Summer Creative Art Adventures Club – Register by June 25th

2014 - Summer Creative Arts CampThe Tree of Life Centre for Creativity is running the Creative Art Adventures Club this summer on Saturdays resuming July 19th in the Raymond Community Hall (Lower Level) 2013 Hwy 141, Utterson from 1:30 – 3:00 pm.

COST: $12 each per session. Please pre-register before June 25th.

There will be a more in depth Creative Art Adventures Class on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. starting Thursday July 3rd until August 7th. This will be in the Raymond Hall, as well as on the Rosseau farm 2 km west of Rosseau village, at 949 Hwy141. Details to follow.

COST: $120 each per 6 sessions. Remember to reserve your place as
soon as possible.

DESCRIPTION: This is a new social learning opportunity for families who have exceptional children with autism. Participants will explore a variety of creative mediums to facilitate self expression in a fun supportive atmosphere. We will explore nature with storytelling, rhythm music and movement, clay modelling, drawing and painting in each afternoon session. This Club is designed for exceptional children with autism ages 5 to 11 years old who endure social anxiety and communication difficulties. This program is held in a kind, loving, supportive and safe environment.
