Major Parry Sound Renovation Complete

Posted on: May 27th, 2015

On Thursday May 28th, Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca is moving back to its home at 2 May Street. After a nine month extensive renovation, which involved temporarily relocating the Hands team to an office on James Street, the space is ready to welcome back staff, clients and families.

In order to accommodate the move, Hands’ Parry Sound office will be closed Thursday May 28th and Friday May 29th. Phone calls will be forwarded during the closure, and service will resume on Monday June 1st in their newly renovated space at 2 May Street, beside the high school.

The renovation will allow Hands to better serve the community of Parry Sound by expanding and enhancing the site to ensure an accessible and dignified space for families to receive services. In addition, Hands’ Autism Services, currently located off site, will be joining the other Hands programs in the new space beginning June 8th.

A grand re-opening celebration is being planned. Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca would like to thank the town of Parry Sound for the continued support and understanding throughout this exciting project.
